Recognition
To be acknowledged out of 30,000 employees is a remarkable honour. Nominees are recognized in six categories:
- Cross-Governmental Integration
- Innovation
- Leadership
- Organizational Excellence
- Partnership
- Service Excellence
We pay tribute to those employees who have contributed to the BC Public Service through inventive and progressive ideas and strong teamwork, as nominated by their peers.
Legacy Award
Perhaps the most esteemed of honours, the Legacy Award recognizes an individual who has made an exceptional and lasting contribution throughout their public service career of at least 15 years.
Leading the way
The Premier’s Innovation & Excellence Awards Program supports the government's vision for the British Columbia Public Service: To be a leader in Canada, and recognized internationally, for public service excellence. By telling the stories of especially notable accomplishments and describing the methods used to achieve them, the Premier’s Awards also contribute to organizational learning, continuous improvement and strengthen pride and identity among employees.
