Two Legal Secretary opportunities are currently available, one regular full-time (35 hours per week) in Fort St. John with an annual salary range of $38,588.68 to $43,711.58. and one regular, part-time position (17.5 hours per week) in Fort Nelson with an hourly salary range of $21.13 to $23.93, or $19,294.34 to $21,855.79 annually.  An isolation allowance of $624 annually will apply to the Fort Nelson position.

Along with your excellent communication skills, you can contribute the benefit of your legal secretarial background ideally with specialization in criminal law. You are well versed in legal terminology, can build effective working relationships, remain very well organized and are also adept at handling inquiries from a variety of persons.

Your qualifications include the following:
- A combination of 4 years related experience, education and/or training in providing stenographic, secretarial or administrative support services. Administrative support services must be attained in a legal office environment.
- Experience/training in keyboarding, word processing and other standard computer applications (e.g. spreadsheets, data bases, and the Internet), and proficiency in keyboarding.

There may be different combinations of relevant experience, education and/or training that would result in an applicant meeting this standard. Lesser qualified applicants may be appointed at a lower level.
